David Velasquez

Chief Financial Officer

• David is a Chief Financial Officer at Colombia Healthcare Properties, and has more than 5 years of experience as an Investment and Corporate Banker, as well as a Real Estate investor

• Prior to CHP, Mr. Velasquez worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lazard’s Bogotá office, where he participated in M&A transactions worth more than USD $2.0 bn; in particular, Mr. Velasquez participated in the restructuring and sale of Electricaribe, Colombia’s largest private electricity distribution and commercialization company

• Before Lazard, Mr. Velasquez was part of Itau BBA’s Corporate and Investment Banking Graduate Programme in London; as part of the programme, Mr. Velasquez took roles in the Credit and Investment Banking departments, as well as the Corporate Sales Desk

• Mr. Velasquez started his career with two real estate investment internships, in Kiruna Capital Partners in Bogotá and Round Hill Capital in London

• David holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Universidad del Rosario in Colombia, as well as an M.Sc. in Finance and Private Equity, with Distinction, from the London School of Economics
