With over 20 years of experience as a banker, consultant and strategist in various industries and regions, Juan has established himself as an expert in the identification and evaluation of opportunities, as well as in the structuring and execution of large projects. Throughout his career, he has led transactions ranging from mergers and acquisitions of large companies in the Latin American region, to the purchase and structuring of real estate transactions in the commercial and healthcare sectors. To date, the total value of the transactions in which he has participated exceeds $2 billion dollars.

Juan co-founded and led CHP during its initial years of operation, having transitioned to head the company’s strategy development as a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining CHP, Juan held key roles in the banking sector, as Senior Vice President of Citibank’s Global Consumer Banking Group in the United States; in the real sector, as Director of Strategy and Business Development for Diageo PLC in Latin America; and in consulting, at firms such as McKinsey & Company in Bogota and Deloitte Consulting in New York.
